Cees 22/5/2005: I did some digging and as off today the live concert of QOTSA at St. Gallen in Switzerland is available in the torrent section. This is the fifth complete video concert and the first since January when LFTSA was launched. Vid's like these is why this site was spawned in the first place :). Everybody Knows that Your Insane Uncensored Video:
Cees 22/5/2005: Recently a guy called "J" has been so nice as to upload an enormous amount of new material for the site. The first one I had to upload is the new Everybody Knows that your Insane Video... Problem is that this video immediatly rates this site as "R" cuz it contains a lot of Japanese..... weener.. (Off course the uncensored video had to be uploaded). So if there are any straight girls or queer males who like utterly insane naked Japanese man .. well continue to the torrent section and check the video marked with NEW. If your a straight guy with an naive view of this world.. then you might want to reconsider downloading this video.
A big Site Change in the torrents section:
Cees 22/5/2005: I Didn't like doing this but I guess it was really necessary , I have bundled all pre 2005 live audio recordings into one torrent in order to limit the total amount of torrent files hosted. The reason I do this is the following: In order to keep this site alive I tend to seed all files hosted on this website, my ISP gives me a 15GB external upload limit a week, this results in an amount of kb/sec that can be used to seed torrent files. This amount is divided into the amount of torrents hosted. To make a long story short, the more files I host the worse badly seeded torrents will be available. Off course I can always help people out with seeding a badly seeded file. To do this just email me. I hope this explains my actions, I know downloading pre 2005 torrents will take a long time now but he.. you'll have a lot of em ;).

Swamped:
Cees 10/5/2005: I'm sorry for the lack of cool updates recently but I've been swamped with work and study the last couple of days, and I will be for the upcoming week :(. If all goes well I should have some amazing new stuff with Grohl... and even an entire new video concert in the next weekend! As for updating, I'm noticing that the amount of torrents is surpassing the amount of seeding I can provide, if people seem to have trouble getting stuff then please keep emailing me at qotsa@margo.student.utwente.nl and I'll try to help seeding as much as possible. Also stay tuned for a more permanent solution to this problem. Thanks go out to Allen for seeding the most recent stuff permanently.

Cees 03/5/2005: I'm not going to be so naive as to think that all people from the kyussqotsa.com forum are gonna like me now, but I have made at least one step in their direction I think. As of now all new audio bootleg torrents will be available in FLAC and MP3. Be advised if you want to trade any stuff from this site your free to do so, but you would be insane NOT to use the .flac recordings since no sane trader would accept the MP3 ones. From today there will also be a new torrent available namely the QOTSA live at the Fillmore San Francisco USA one.. This will also be the first FLAC torrent that is gonna be available from the IRULAN server directly. I really hope this is gonna smooth things over for everyone and that from this moment everyone can just start enjoying this site again.
Misc QOTSA Shit Volume3:
Cees 02/5/2005: Misc QOTSA shit is back, and How! 2 tracks where removed (The Bronze and Who'll be the next in line) since they appear to be available on the Stone Age Complications CD witch is still decently available in record shops (and there by defy rule number 1). I replaced the Bronze with a Live version and also added some other misc tracks that have been posted on the board by Xal recently. Here's the new list: And here you can download the torrent for it.

Cees 01/5/2005: What was? April was! On the bright side April brought us the most visitors to date! Here is a figure I use, on one side there is the amount of visitors of the torrent page (which strangely enough is the most visited page) on the other side is the amount of hits of the left navbar (for a nice overview of how many pages have been hit in total) Nice to notice that more and more people come here to visit the lyrics, news, info, and gallery sections as well.

Off course April was not all joy. Because of the sometimes ridiculous arguments with angry traders an attempt was made to remove this website, furthermore attempts to create a mutual beneficial solution are going maddeningly slow. I hope traders will be happy to notice that the first audio bootleg in FLAC format will be hosted from this site in the upcoming weeks. (Ironically enough it was provided by a trader who didn't give a damn whether or not mp3 or flac was used.) I hope May will be a better month all-round with more visitors and a decent solution to the audio bootleg problem.
