09.21.09 SWEETHEAD is everywhere and Troy hangs out with Deano.

With the debut of their first album (now set for an October 26th release) on the horizon, SWEETHEAD are about to set sail on yet another European tour. This time in support of Eagles of Death Metal. Get out there and show some love people.

A couple of interviews have been posted over at Antiquiet. Here is the first one talking about the Love and Rockets tribute. This link will lead you to the second one. Thanks to the guys over there for giving us a couple of laughs and some great information.

Last bit of SWEETHEAD news is The Great Disruptors video was released a few weeks ago. Enjoy it as much as we did!!

The amazing Trizzler will also be appearing on Dean Fertita's solo project Hello=Fire. The album is scheduled to see release sometime in the next month. Details to follow as we know them. *insert us trying to corner Deano after the Dead Weather show in NOLA*

07.15.09 SWEETHEAD appears in NME.

The title says it all. You can find a pic posted over at the SWEETHEAD myspace.

07.07.09 More videos and how is your twitter?

SWEETHEAD has a twitter account! Actually, they have had it for a while but seeing that they are posting more, we will tell you about it. So far we have learned that they can't stop adding new songs to the album and that Serrina likes rice. Keep posting guys!! http://twitter.com/sweethead

So many of you enjoyed the last video that I couldn't help but tell you about this one. The UK website Smokin' Vulture recently did an interview with our Trizzler. Pop over to their site and check it.

06.25.09 News from SWEETHEAD and a pretty little TVL video.

First, the video because we know you need the goods and pronto. Thanks to the jimdunlopusa youtube account for posting this. Lots of good info on gear and some QOTSA stuff. Check it:

Second, the most lovely Serrina has updated the blog on SWEETHEAD's myspace to announce the Love And Rockets tribute album No New Tales To Tell: A Tribute To Love And Rockets coming out on July 25th. It will feature a cover of "Life In Laralay." There will also be a show on July 1st to promote this album. Purchase, Attend, and Love. You know the drill.

Update on the EP: Release date is now July 20th. So, change it on your calendars. Also, none of the songs on it will appear on the album. Just as a heads up.

06.17.09 A lot has been going on with SWEETHEAD.

We hardly know where to begin. So, let's start with the important part. RELEASES!!!! The SWEETHEAD EP entitled The Great Disruptors will see the light of day on July 13th. First, it will show up in record stores in the UK and then after that a digital release for the rest of us. Put some monies aside guys and gals, you won't want to miss it.

Do you need some music on your iPod? Head on over to http://www.sweethead.net where you can sign up for the mailing list and get a copy of The Kinks cover, "Tired of Waiting for You." Which is a fitting song to cover seeing that this will give you something to listen to while you wait for the EP and the album to be released in September!! More info on this as it becomes available.

SWEETHEAD just returned home after touring with SNOW PATROL over in Europe. We have received a lot of great reviews from the shows and some pictures have begun to surface of Troy looking "quite dashing in some new suits." At least, that is what we were told. Pictures will be uploaded in the gallery in the coming days.

Word on the interwebs is that re mastered QOTSA material is on it's way to us (and by us, we mean fans) as well as another Desert Sessions. Could it be? We would like to think so.
