I usually scan the newsgroups and look for problems people are experiencing for which I can provide assistance. I also scan for postings providing new or different target archery ideas or information.

Began in the sport of archery about 20 years ago primarily to hunt large game, but quickly became interested in target archery. Shot in my first tournament in 1978 and won my first state championship in 1980 -- I have been shooting NFAA and IFAA tournaments ever since. I served on the NFAA board of directors from 1990 - 1992 representing the Archery Association of Europe. I attended the NFAA instructor program and received certification in 1991.
I have always competed in the "fingers" divisions of the NFAA. I currently compete in the bowhunter freestyle limited (BHFSL) NFAA shooting style. However, for several years I competed in the freestyle limited (FSL) NFAA shooting style.
Accomplishments:
Two state championships in the FSL division.
Nine state championships in the BHFSL division.
Three Mid-Atlantic sectional championships in the BHFSL division.
Coached my wife to a state championship in the BHFSL division (I am now trying to get her back into the sport).
Archery continues to intrigue me both technically and mentally. My efforts to consistently produce "the perfect shot" and to achieve my personal goals are challanges that are both rewarding and frustrating. I enjoy sharing experiences and continuously collecting additional knowledge on this rewarding sport.
