Very well, though I am not a contributor I like to read about other peoples ideas on certain subjects.
Hoyt GM, 35lbs @ 29.25". I use a V-bar (AGF), Arten Summit sight and A/C/C 3L-18 arrows which are slightly too stiff for my current draw weight. The bow and all the stuff that's put on it I purchased about three years ago. The A/C/C's have come only recently since I aspired shooting FITA.
Joined Sagittarius in the spring of 1993. Mainly because I was looking to broaden my horizons and intended to start college (computer science) later that year at the UT.
I was hooked from the first arrow I send through the air and still am.
After shooting a Dong-Jin for some months, best performance a suprising 249 (25m-30a) without clicker, stabiliser and just a hunting sight (wonder if I shoot that consistent this moment), I decided it was time to have my personal gear.
From there on I started shooting competition, which I enjoy very much and have experienced the ups an dows that seem common among archers.
Target Archery is very simple, there is one basic rule which goes for everyone:
The more you shoot the better you will perform.
Technique will get you there faster, but is (in my opinion) overrated, mental matters are much more important.
